<p>This document is aimed to cover following points:</p><ol><li>Configuration related to time-sheet</li><li>Device based check-in/check-out</li><li>Web based check-in/check-out</li><li>View your timesheet</li><li>Manage timesheets</li><li>Managing mis-punch entries</li></ol><p> </p><p><strong>1. Configuration of time-sheet</strong></p><p>- Go to <strong>HR > Config > Punch method</strong></p><p>There are two modes of using check-in functionality. Either of it can be enabled at a time.</p><ol><li>Web based - Can perform check-in/check-out using App and Web interface</li><li>Device based - Using separate punch-in machine</li></ol><p> </p><p><strong>2. Device based check-in/check-out</strong></p><p>Device data integration can be done following ways,</p><ol><li>Directly insert log into the system using shared table</li><li>GSM/GPRS based devices can directly send data string to the server</li></ol><p><mark class="marker-blue">Make sure to send employee code in uc_user_id field.</mark></p><p> </p><p><strong>3. Web based check-in/check-out</strong></p><p>This can be simply done from your HR dashboard if its enabled by your team.</p><p>Use this action button to perform Check-in/Check-out, here the system will check your previous action and update your time-log details accordingly.</p><p> </p><p><strong>4. View your timesheet</strong></p><p>- Go to <strong>Leaves > Timesheet</strong> from HR menu</p><p>- Select date range to see time-sheet report for selected time period</p><p> </p><p><strong>5. Manage timesheets</strong></p><p>If you are admin/HR user and you want to manage employee time-sheets then </p><p>- Select <strong>Leaves > Manage timesheet</strong> from menu</p><p>- Search for employee (using username, first name or last name) and then select specific time-sheet period </p><figure class="image"><img src="https://storage1.aimcorerp.com/storage/ADEPT/docs/inpage/zbv_hTn1557746332FYNE.png"></figure><p>- Click on <strong>Fetch timesheet </strong>button</p><p> </p><p><strong>6. Managing mis-punch entries</strong></p><p>For adding mis-puch entries, we have given a single place to enter a missed time-log. This feature is very crucial to generate right reports.</p><p>In-order to add a missed entry against a user first of all go to <strong>Manage time-sheets</strong></p><p>- Search for employee and click on <strong>Fetch timesheet</strong></p><p>- As soon as you click <strong>Fetch timesheet</strong> button, a new <strong>button</strong> with <strong>+ (plus)</strong> icon will be visible at the bottom right corner in that screen, Click on it</p><p>- A new popup will be visible with some input elements asking for <strong>Date and time</strong> of missed entry, select appropriate time and click on <strong>Add</strong> button</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://storage1.aimcorerp.com/storage/ADEPT/docs/inpage/IMO_nPu1557746306TPCZ.png"></figure><p> </p><p>On adding this missed entry successfully system will automatically identify that action whether is should be <strong>IN</strong> or <strong>OUT,</strong> and will update all the following logs by itself.
